Eye look at I
A Poem by

Eye look at I
Two blues,
gray-rimmed,
and dark
at the center---
I am, too: blues,
and dark
at the center.
Growing old
does things
sometimes,
like withers you,
or hardens,
or gives you luck
enough to dance
all summer on
a lawn strewn
with violets.

Didn't turn out a bit as I thought it might...a definite "feel-good" piece
J ~ sent it....
"I am, too: blues, ~ Fab verse here ...and so it truly can be
and dark
at the center."
"or gives you luck
enough to dance
all summer on
a lawn strewn
with violets." ~ ......................Priceless imagery and mood
The way you sprinkle the ending with a carefree tone ....brought this work...to a different level

this whispers softly and travels like a notion in the wind, maybe it will lay a boon across the faces of those who it passes by and through.
