After the showers the drops rain again
Dripping Slipping off tress and into gutters Leaving the smell of earth fresh until the sun dries it Through the gray sky beams of gold highlight patches of beauty Illuminating their worth Spots of color speckle gardens As flowers are in season and are blooming everywhere Shades of brilliance sparkle As the sun climbs out from where it was hiding It smiles Feeding the flowers their needed warmth Night falls All is forgotten © 2011 toujoursAuthor's Note
