Forgotten

Forgotten

A Poem by toujours

Flows like ink
Seeping through your veins
Grasping
Hoping
Tearing at the seams where the hum of genius whines
Never before heard songs
Lost in fairy tales
Forgotten by story tellers
Light shines
Pouring gold into the images of death
Hard as rock and
Soft as cloud
Emotions dive through the walls of harmony
Creating a horrible sense of
Betrayal
While girls and boys play hide and seek behind the curtains
Love can't thrive where there is no life
Only death
Grasping
Hoping
Tearing
