I know it isn't much, my dear, but would you wear this ring? This tiny little gold one my grandmother gave to me? And I don't care what else you wear or if there are tangles in your hair- I know that I'll be happy when you smile and say “I do.”
I know that I'll be happy so long as I'm with you.
I will love you if the moon rebels against the dawn. And I will love if the water vacates waterfalls. I will love you 'till the clock that's counting down my minutes stops, because, darling, you are everything to me.
And I know I haven't much to give, but, lovely, let me tell you this: I'll love you like the earth surrounds the sun. Like the Romans worshiped gods.
