Chapter closed

We onced danced amongst the constellations 

she was a gift gracefully sent down 

from the heavens a unique divine blessing 

You were a reason to love yet again 

the reason behind my love's existence 

the only woman that picked up the broken pieces

She cherished the imperfected pieces which 

made me whom I am 

She's nurtured every part of me with every breath 

from her soul my heart screamed yelling "please don't go!"

The sweet scented aroma that came off her soft physique 

Had me fixated and hypnotized like one wouldn't believe 

I created a vivid picture for the lord 

to express what she genuinely meant to me 

she fed my heart the love that I still crave so passionately

I longed for her to return into my arms where she peacefully slept 

you were a blessing that I've asked for I am glad we've met 

She is now a chapter closed but a story to revisit 

a love that will never fade but a love to forever hold.
