Farewell Callalily.

Farewell Callalily.

A Poem by The Fallen King

Walking along the shore overlooking the beautifully lit horizon
reminiscing back on our youthful times of excitement

I hoarded all of our happiest memories afraid of letting go
But I think it's finally time I let you go

I've made countless mistakes in hopes of being forgiven
Only to make matters worse

A love that was pure and genuine I have once over indulged in
Now dying slowly as I watch it take its last course in it's path
God has chosen

I have prayed that time heals your wounds and comforts your heart
Just know deep inside where most people assume it's dark

Is a soul which holds compassion and empathy trying
to regain control of what he's lost

I will say my farewells and I will always remember you
Here is my blessings and my last message I'll say to you

I now toss the love in which I have for you into the wind
In hopes that you find everlasting love again

Think it's time for me to go,

Farewell, my beautiful Callalily...

Thank you very much.
"I've made countless mistakes in hopes of being forgiven"

That, my friend, is a spectacular line.

I agree with you.
A very emotive piece.

The struggle of letting go scorches my heart as I read these lines. I can also feel a strong resolve despite of struggles.

A piece straight from the heart.
