Ive had two writing partners both have been women

It hasn't worked out the first partnership was for a year the other was for two years it was a great crossover online the second partnership was with a woman named dark raven online.the first partnership was with a woman named selina who had such confidence in herself she put herself in the story.naming the main charcther after herself in her book and saying the charcther was a part of the cat clan and that selina had nine lives just like a real cat.but selina was turned into a vampire.it broke my heart when she didn't want to work with me and wanted to do her own thing then dark raven stopped working on stories so maybe im not meant to have a partner.

what im working on is new and different and will change the face of vampire fiction forever so perhaps at this time im better off working alone

Sometimes collaboration works. It just depends on who you are writing with. There are times when egos get in the way of the original vision or idea.

I understand what you are saying here. Writes are creative souls, just like members in a rock band. Sometimes these bands break apart because someone one or two feels they are not getting a chance to show their creativity in the band. I think perhaps writing partners would have the same problem. Like you described here.

You do a great job on the characters you have going now. I'd read more but I don't read people who never return the favor. In my mind it is not fair. We all want to be read and if someone thinks they should be read and never read anyone else in return, well.........

I think if you want to work with someone on writing i am willing to help..as i do not plan to over take anything as i believe it takes effort from both writers...and i wouldnt want to put my name as a character haha



anyways if you wish to work alone i believe based on your previous work..you are capable..as it is your choice..but not everyone is the same

yep selina was very dark and with dark raven she started going in a different direction and my stories are all dark over the years vampires are starting to die down starting to be a subject of sex appeal and romance and I want to make it dark again it's rare that a movie like Dracula untold or vampire hunter abrham lincolin comes out hon

as i have seen both of those movies i agree...as most of my writing is romance i just havent had a reason to write dark...yet it is up to you if you wish...
rather i agree with the "different" approach
