I Love You

I Love You

A Poem by topsyturvy

I Love You

I love that you’re happy now, even though it eats me inside.

I love the way your eyes light up with warm decadence whenever you’re around her.

I love it when you laugh at the simplest things, even receiving something as petty as a sweet little candy from her.

I love it when you look at me full of disdain and bitterness from almost tearing you and her apart.

I love everything about you that it hurts me to say

I have loved you for far too long and you’re all I have from yesterday.

But now it’s time to say my goodbye for I have loved you too long to let it last even for another day.

If you love someone, and its not meant to be...definitely let it go...that's life...thats the way love goes sometimes. Always love yourself, and in the end everything falls into place. A lovely write.

Sad, but true to life. These things happen and we have to move on as best we can. Thanks for sharing.
