End of Days

End of Days

A Poem by topsyturvy

The darkness consumes

The soul of the goddess

Fleeting responsibility

Unbearable pain.

Treasured kisses

Long-lived lies.

Desolate dreams that wander on continuously

Imitations of the best breed of madness

Stirs in the forest of menace.

Enamored with the filth of the earth

She cries out for more.

Though in truth inside she dies

Piece by piece is excruciating

The thought alone kills.

The bearer of this pain is I.

Realizing you'e the cause of your own pain truly is the end of days! Great poem about coming to that realization! Flowed well from start to finish! Admission is the first step to recovery! Nice job again!
