Arrogance

Arrogance

A Poem by topsyturvy

There’s a certain discomfort one feels after sitting quietly, unmoving in your chair.

The limited movements that might cause your body to be frail.

Oh how the world swirls around you though they know nothing of your pain.

Sitting quietly, unmoving in your chair.

Amidst the blue skies and the sunny rays

Flocks of birds gather interacting with different race

Not caring of the deep and surly gaze

The skies so blue falter and turn a dull gray.

Uncaring little beings that mock you in their stare

Completely naked whilst your frame’s in a standstill

Leaving blotches of red and black

Still pondering, sitting quietly in your chair.
