AshenA Poem by topsyturvy
Sitting atop a dark moonlit sky
The trees and birds begin to cry. A boy singing a noteless tune Stares blankly into a ravenous crow. The defeaning sound of silene Reaches the ears of a drunken deaf. He pitches a cry of pity for the boy he never knew. Let go, let it go. Dead silence even more so than before The drunken deaf man.. Cries no more. © 2010 topsyturvy |
