Up in FlamesA Poem by topsyturvyHeat of the fire that consumes you Dissapears completely in the full moon. Misty haze of the night She clambers up on her tower. Fixated looking atop the hill She sees things that are unclear. In and out they fade Despair pushing through her features. She fights to stay calm. Her eyes bore into mine. As she waves to say hello Her heart receives a deathly blow. She rushes towards the sudden calamity She fears the dread and anxiety. Surrounded once by intimate beauty Never before to be seen again Lifelessly she stares Fixated atop her midnight flares. Looks as though she ponders things Talking of things that could have been. She glances.. Sideways, both up and then down. Her smile turns then into a frown. She fumbles, cries hysterically.. Where is everyone? They have deserted me. © 2009 topsyturvyReviews
