Trials

A Poem by topsyturvy

And so it begins.
And you wonder how fair it all is.
How fair the world is.
It is not my darling,
This you must accept.
It is your fate, your duty to the one above.
In your eyes I see the fear
In your eyes I see failure.
The broken promises of the used,
The mighty has fallen.
It is up to you now.
It is up to you.

Pretty much everything that's been going through my mind you summed up. Was a pleasure to read

This is an affirmation of the message I'm trying to internalize these days. Indeed, it's up to us. We should choose to rise above trials and be the persons we are meant to me. You relayed a powerful message here, topsyturvy. You have no idea how much this uplifted my soul today. Keep writing and inspiring!
