The Remedy

The Remedy

A Poem by topsyturvy

I go round and round in circles

Tryna avoid the danger.

She follows me wherever

Whenever, whatever.

He follows her whenever,

Wherever, however.

The means to an end dies.

Civility all aside.

They follow her through the dangers

Even when she lays down to die.

Three people moving in as one

Living as one.

She sits behind closed doors,

Trembling all the while.

Waiting for the last moment

When all her pain subsides.

I feel the cycles in your writing and it's a pleasant spin or turn. No mater what danger you consent to experience, I sense the remedy is always in your heart. We are all many selves combined to form one individuality.

I liked most the lines:

Trembling all the while.
Waiting for the last moment
When all her pain subsides.

The final stanza held me tight...
