Go On

The graveyard is lackadaisical at midnight. Wind jumps from tree to tree, and I pull up my jacket a little higher on my shoulders.I clutch the flowers I have brought in my hand. I sit on the dirt, leaning against my tombstone. Whisper-singing songs under my breath.
    But he never comes.
Instead, it's a man. Thirties. Crying.
I have never seen a grown man cry before.
He kneels in front of a tombstone.
   I watch him.
He's just, there, for a while.
   Then he falls asleep.
I quietly stand up, and walk over to his sleeping body.
Take a flower out of my bouquet.
   Place it on the tombstone.
   I look at the inscription.
   Lindsey Nell. Beloved daughter.
   I walk away.
   His daughter walks with me.

It's a story that sucked me in, that's a plus. I enjoyed the suspense and your description was magnificent.
