Waiting

The hushed quiet scene.

Silence makes people insane.

No one dares to speak.
        to move.

Cannot break the dreaded atmosphere.

Just
   waiting
       for
        the
         results.

   Heels clicking.

Nurse approaches.

Clipboard in hand.

No one breathes.

She says the news.

  Every.
     Heart.
      Shatters.


Hope is quickly erased.

  The fate is sealed.

I picturised a hospital scene in front of me when I read "Nurse" in this.This poem stands as an inspiration for me to write about silence.When I will do ,I will dedicate that to you.
