Through The Universe, Into Nothing.

Through The Universe, Into Nothing.

A Story by TopHatGirl

I packed my bags, and left on my trip out of the universe.

The stars were shining brightly, waving me goodbye. I kissed them lightly, with tears in my eyes.

I ran across the Moon's surface, loving gravity's absense.

I hugged Pluto, leaving my condolences that he wasn't a planet anymore. What do sciintists know anyways?

I jumped across astroids, and rode on a comet.

I made it to the edge of the universe, it was stars and planets on my side, black and empty on the other.

 Waiting to be discovered.

I looked back one more time. Did I really want to do this?

Yes. This old universe has outgrown me, and I need a new one.

I slowly opened the gateway, and stepped inside.

Hopefully this universe can handle me.

This universe isn't good enough for you? Wow. That's interesting. Scientifically speaking, it's possible there are other universes, but we don't really know how to get to them. Oh, and Pluto should not be a planet. But that's not the point of this poem. Overall, I liked it. Nice job!
