Drown.

Drown.

A Poem by Olivia H.

The world is bleak
with the darkened oceans of hate
and despair
and grief.
No light shines
into the murky waters
in which we all tread for our lives.
There are no fish
able to swim through this never-ending sea.
One by one,
we drown
gasping for the last breath of air
the last bit of happiness they’ll find.
There are no islands
there are no boats
able to save us from this watery grave.
One day, I’ll drown under the grey sky
and I’ll be thankful
as my body sinks to the ocean floor,
as it joins all the rest of them
that it’s finally over.

Very depressing, you've caught a mood here perfectly. I remember feeling this way.
I'd like to read more about why
