Dreams

Dreams

A Poem by Olivia H.
"

You know how you remember images, and can sort of see them in the back of your head?

"
As I close my eyelids,
You appear in the back of my mind
Where you can just barely see what you want,
When you're completely alone.

It's a bit warped, this mind vision
One can create what they see,
They can finally find what they want
But when their eyelids rise
It snaps out of sight.

I could spend all day here
I could live in a dreamland of everything I wanted
But that would be unnecessary.
I don't need that hell inside myself to see you...

The element of dreams
Is that they're floating apart from what our eyes see.
You breathe in both airs,
You exist in both worlds.

This is very cool, loved the way you wrapped it up in the last stanza. Thoughtful

I liked this, it was very surreal and spoke to me about many dimensions.

You still have to open your eyes once in a while to eat and nourish that marvelous imagination of yours.

this is some of the smoothest and clearest poetry I've read on here, heck anywhere.
Ya got chops little one.

Concepts, imagery and writing skill.... you must have been genetically modified.
Keep writing.
