![]() A TEST OF FATEA Poem by TONY SOShe wasn't lonely, She was tough yet lovely He was never alone, He had someone he thought he calls home They were both owned, by people they thought of having forever but fate was too playful, or that's what they thought One day, they'd met A day they'd surely forget Nothing special A shy smile and a nod, Just something usual But time passes, quickly and unnoticeable She thought she wasn't lonely, that was true but in his arms she was happy, or happier maybe On the other hand, he thought he wasn't alone, but this time he found a real home in the hands of this lady, who's flustered between keeping him or setting free They were both owned, but now, they wish they weren't Something happened, but never was it their intention And as unjust as it seems, they can't find any reason To be happier, to find a real home And though it wasn't easy Hearts were broken, tears shed He would always say "hold on tight" and that's what she did
True love they thought, For what they already have, they fought And now they're happier, Unwise decision, as some says But it was only their hearts that they have followed © 2013 TONY SO |
