FamilyA Poem by Tony F.M.A sonnet about family! :D
Bound by flesh and sinew, soon topple o'er
To whim and cry of stratospheric wail A grip has pasted heart to heart, and love Is spoken over heartache to prevail. Love of covenants to form in excess Of home and hearth, the throat shall hum, content. Extremities in hardship held so out; Ink runs oaths through their unspoken cement. There is comfort sought in solace of arms, In lullabies and shelves that infants leap, Yet anger giv'n, invoked by temperament That subsides for way of kindness to sweep. Tangles found in strings of lives do naught of Tie you to you and you to those you love. © 2014 Tony F.M. |
