Sadness.. indeed there is alot of sadness around us.. too much in poverty stricken areas.. children if born in poverty do not know the difference so many are happy with very little.. I can relate to that.. I do not have high needs in a material way.. makes it easier in some ways to feel happy as small things make you happier. It is sad though that so many things cost so much money and that our wages are not growing at the same rate.. it is more difficult today to be in poverty than 20 years ago.. however I still see smiles on many of the children.. but more violence which is not on the list but is also sad! Your last line a question that even if those things did not exist there would still be sadness as it is a human emotion.. if we didn't have that then we wouldn't have the opposite which is happy.. I am glad we have these feelings which is what makes us human!!! Great write on sadness from your heart and what touches you.. I can relate to that.. =)

Why is there so much sadness in the world, is a good question. One I don't think anyone has a real or honest answer for. It never hurts to ask it though, because if we never ask then the problem goes unchecked will only get worse. But as long as we know about it then we can work on making it so there is no sadness in the world. I like the piece it has a depth that you don't expect and I love it when that happens.

But....its like d 2 sides of a coin.....where there is sadness....v can also find happiness.
Happiness needn't b alwez in bigger volumes......
be it a single smile or a simple act of kindness.....
