Off the shore

Looking steps heaving light
Summer through winter trickling down
Longing and looking for a search
Dawning murmurs of the heart
Deepen haven souring through
Defining a position of importance
Somehow the teals oft blue burning
Edges of the distant horizon
Oh love open the gleams of sight
Beginning to see the form of life
Oh heaven of dawning kindle
Color the brush with red
Paint the glee of dissent
Oh yearning beat fly above the surface
Clouding a form left to be certain
Assure the wings that are still
To swing along another sill
Write onto the days a perfect path
Of love serenity and all left
Off the shore we sprinkle a sparkle
Today for tomorrow night will stay
