Pilgrims of a Thought

Pilgrims of a Thought

A Poem by Nisreen

Within or without seeking darkness in light
The mahogany in teals of brown winds

Stars relinquish a backdrop of bright days
As this earth may sing a soft song in sparks

Paid to the oath of a light coming from afar
The heavens shall agree upon a place to meet

Warmth would find embracings of much found
As trees would shed tiny dust of pure red

Words would be this escapade open to seas
Lines of mistaken thought hugging this release

For bounties of love effortlessly stream
Longing to create a package of stars

Dreams would lay in silence in his presence
As something once spoken of would sieze

Opening the doors to fountains of mercy
He holds her world within his arms

Craddling all the colors in pilgrims of thought
As they both relocate existence from this borderless place

Discoveries of pure wine in an endless meadow
They live eternally by banks of floral fields

Campfires of the soul may lay a form of speech
As they know of no end to their hearts

it's amazing how well we can travel and explore with another, when love drives the ship through tender waters...
and we find new worlds of passion and contentment.

Thank you Jacob :)
A lovely poem about Pilgrims, who travel near and far in search of new lands to speak the word of God. And give new meanings and hope, love and faith towards others. As well as true friendships and learnings of new ways.

Thank you Dawn
Appreciate your review
"Pilgrims of a Thought"
Precious Seconds,
Writing about the continuous discoveries of life.
We see ourselves in the knowing, in the learning.
What a great theme of pilgrims of life.
Your poem gives voice to the light we long for:
"Stars relinquish a backdrop of bright days
As the earth my sing a soft song in sparks."
Without light there is no color.
your second line is sweet!
"Mahogany of teals in brown winds"
I like to think of this as a poem
written about a life lived in the
darks and lights with pain and
learning. In the end and through
our with thankfulness.
Blessings,
Kathy

Thank you Kathy. Much love to you
It's amazing comparing the Pilgrim fathers back then, to the present movement of people, in what seems to be the same religious persecution. Though i suppose the new world has been found. Which doesn't leave much room for new pilgrims.

The idea itself of a pilgrim has been tainted
And discovery has been demolished

well said ..love the colors and the love ;) our hunger and thirst for nirvana is not misplaced says i! the Bible tells me we are all born with a "certain knowledge of heaven" ... we make choices that feed it or bury it eh!? would that your lovers have their way ... very fine read for me Nisreen!
