You have a way of threading thoughts into a world, a story that unfolds through glimpses, like a movie, each picture a light and shadow on the one to come. These glimpses take us into your life, your journey, so profoundly, dear poet.
I don't know what the heck this means (I'm no good at interpreting abstract), but it's described with a maximum amount of uninhibited imagination. Good word choices thru-out that contribute to assonance & consonance (similar sounds grouped together, such as: "cynicism subliminally"). It feels like the narrator is opinionated in a commanding way, expressing whatever wildly-described sentiments are occurring moment by moment, as if everyone should know this s**t, & it all feels very fast-paced. These are unusual effects that most people never even get close to, with free form poetry.
As breath-taking as the picture my friend, except maybe the fish sandwich would take your breath away too. I personally love Kippers in brine. A wonderful meandering journey of thoughts you took me on. :)

Never tried that .... I am gonna Google it
Thanks Andrew
This feels, sounds, tastes and smells of thought freefall, letting your mind focus only on the handwriting muscle, via the heart and the part of the brain titled wishful. Methinks the serenity is title laden with this mysterious herbal remedy that ails more than aches of bone and muscle. It certainly has a dream like, or perhaps just enlightened willingness to see where the thoughts take you, into so much colour and vibrancy. I did lol at the fish thought, because if I am correct, you are talking about thoughts flowing, and your response to that thought is a simple et profound thought, almost child like in its answer, which is by no means an insult, as I truly believe the world would be a better place if kids were in charge.
I love the Irish English part too, which is larger than one may see, as so much of what your thoughts say are conveyed in a way that supposes you know of these places well, with little nuances of sayings and how they are said.
I think the ending, realising your politeness, is perfect in summing up those moments of calm, where we realise that any resentment or anger we were feeling has gone, even if momentarily, a welcome release surely.
I think this shall be read over and over, as it has the feel that I haven't even scratched the surface of it yet. So be warned, further thoughts may appear on each read. I shall post any addendums to see where your journey takes me. :)

I can see this as one side of a conversation. Perhaps a conversation with oneself. And being mindful of what my own mindset is at times I am I cannot comment on some of the uses for St John's Wort. Except to say I found this to be
honest, witty and an exceptional write.
