Blue Bewilderment

Blue Bewilderment

A Poem by Nisreen

The tangled life strolling this night
Smashing the glass veil on a heart
Sensing another cover
Beyond the hill
The sun single formed
A memory of lakes filled with frozen ice
Fantasy engaged in purple dream
The mood was set to turn
Scenes of autumn burnt the record
Hosting a play only in the mind
Touching the hollow image
Asking the winds to plead
The testament of your reality
Out of white cut out memory
Fast was the potion running through seeds
A spur of miraculous growth
Thinking of malice
Saying this must be hope
For once
This is a defined form of light
The fingers you placed from a distance
Holding something i left untold
Healing beyond our thoughts
A stare from skin to bone
Perpetual
Under the surface
Pronouncing shades of light

Your words flow together so soft beautifully as poetry is post to be. :) Larry

Thank you so much Larry. You just made my day
Such a poetic poem. It is beautiful. It is spontaneous and I like the imagery. "Fantasy engaged in purple dream." Well written and expressed.

Thank you Martin
this is like a record that wanted to play beautiful harmony and instead just started skipping, because the grooves became filled with doubt.
and the song could not be exposed, as the needle danced back and forth aimlessly...

anyway..me being an oldie but goodie from the 45 rpm days...saw this in probably a different light.

but love it.

It feels like I just know this poem. It's very deep, and beautiful all the same. Pen on!

This one speaks to me. I am going to let this one absorb more. This runs so parallel with a few things I have written & am working on.

You have captured beautifully emotions which often defy description. Our words bleed, too. I guess our words seek redemption too. They don't always find it, but I guess we feel better when they try.

Wow. I have fallen in love with your style. The way you are able to portray so much more than what you actually say is amazing. "Smashing the glass veil on a heart" "A memory of lakes filled with frozen ice" "healing beyond our thoughts." These lines, and many others have so many implications of deeper meaning. I love it, I really do.

The life of a poet... it's the way we know how I guess
4th stanza before the end, "I" needs capitalization. Other than that, the poem looks well done and the accompanying picture sets a nice tone to the poem!
