Blue BewildermentA Poem by Nisreen
The tangled life strolling this night
Smashing the glass veil on a heart Sensing another cover Beyond the hill The sun single formed A memory of lakes filled with frozen ice Fantasy engaged in purple dream The mood was set to turn Scenes of autumn burnt the record Hosting a play only in the mind Touching the hollow image Asking the winds to plead The testament of your reality Out of white cut out memory Fast was the potion running through seeds A spur of miraculous growth Thinking of malice Saying this must be hope For once This is a defined form of light The fingers you placed from a distance Holding something i left untold Healing beyond our thoughts A stare from skin to bone Perpetual Under the surface Pronouncing shades of light
