Blue Bewilderment

Blue Bewilderment

A Poem by Nisreen

The tangled life strolling this night
Smashing the glass veil on a heart
Sensing another cover
Beyond the hill
The sun single formed
A memory of lakes filled with frozen ice
Fantasy engaged in purple dream
The mood was set to turn
Scenes of autumn burnt the record
Hosting a play only in the mind
Touching the hollow image
Asking the winds to plead
The testament of your reality
Out of white cut out memory
Fast was the potion running through seeds
A spur of miraculous growth
Thinking of malice
Saying this must be hope
For once
This is a defined form of light
The fingers you placed from a distance
Holding something i left untold
Healing beyond our thoughts
A stare from skin to bone
Perpetual
Under the surface
Pronouncing shades of light

Superb write. You do need to read your poems a few times to get into them, which is not a bad thing. Makes the reader think.

This is beautiful! Very well written. "The fingers you placed from a distance holding something I left untold." That's deep. You are truly an amazing poet.

Thank you so much Nina
Now that's poetry. So many great lines, flowing and cascading into each other like sheets fluttering in dark and in light, waiting for the frenzy to pass until they flutter back to earth with a beautifully soft ending. Great write.

It is a beautiful poem, although I am not able to understand it properly. Maybe it is because I am not old enough to! : )

I'm not sure of the meaning but as a poem it is nice to read and contemplate each line. I imagine this is a dream that was formed from the impact another had on your life.

A fine poem for symbolism? and contemplation.
