Evergreen Reality

Evergreen Reality

A Poem by Nisreen

Expanding this taken conduct
Legions to still waters

Tenderness sprout

Endowed is the heart
Gathering stars of love

Awakening candle of care
Creasing a golden fountain

Left to ponder a thought
From madness to release

Motioning pastorals of self governance
Beats went on delivering

A moment to the spur  openness
Yet indifference could never take plight

Hands moving on waves of your heart
Listening to the world with eyes

Deliverance of yet another day
In all fields

No tears would flood the path
Simply wiping the delicate skin

Never missed

A million signs
Seldom misread

From expectations
To a pass through

Self gratitude

Months turn to years
Given the death of nerving fear

Within a piece of memory
Grown evergreen

Thank You Joshua
I am glad my words made You feel That way
classic "your style" my friend :)) these are my favorite lines:

"Hands moving on waves of your heart
Listening to the world with eyes"

tho there are others sharing a close second ... the self governance and self gratitude speak volumes to me in this poem ..there is a reflective acceptance of self required before we can care about anyone else ..(in my opinion) ... as always loaded with interpretation possibilities and imagery ..

ps. the mist on the mountains haunts the worn down Ozarks surrounding my home ...and worn down me ;)

Lol
Thank You so much and i totally agrée With your thoughts
our souls come alive when we find our green roots....

lovely expression of how we love nature. One tends to forget that when one's experience is limited to concrete and superficial town living...

thank you for this beautiful reminder.

Words can take us there, and anywhere..... :)
seeing the picture, reading the poem....feeling my dad among the evergreens in NC....up high in the mountains...

a strong piece of memory for me...just pieces of memory for him...

perhaps there was fear of death years before....but with my mom gone...i think he fears nothing except the loneliness he feels without her.

this is so expressive, and as always...there are so many ways different readers may relate to your words.
