Rose Cadence

Rose Cadence

A Poem by Nisreen

Solitude stroke
On a brush of hope
Peace for a soul
Covenant bonds
Stories do tell
A Venice
The quality of threads
Jolting embrace
Though anger subsides
Shinning to a well
He looks into her
Witnesses little
Inside a cave
Gifts she left hanging
Silk of traded paths
Woven in good will
Though simple
and few
Unfolded grew ample
Stars spread to a carpet
Furnishing a thought
In the brink
Secrets she wrote
He may have swayed by
Seldom noticing
A spark in her eyes
Telling records
The shone shells
Whispering his name
A light wishful token
Streets of a man
Hung onto the hide
Raving in subtle vibes
A right to feel alive
In bearing the truth of her
To him
Resolute comfort
Looking at peace

This is so painfully beautiful...
Your entire being is a poem, gifted with this ability of deeply unique expressions
To many "gifts in this cave" to choose one, so I will be a little piggy and keep the whole damn thing :)

i guess ...... thank you
What glorious colors vibrate and dance through these glimpses of life and love. There is the whispering light of stars that seems to glimmer over every line, and light the way to this beautiful place of peace.

Thank you C
Almosts feels like they're not allowed to be together, forbidden even. Certainly a lot of pain. Well penned.

The accompanying picture really compliments the poem and it gives the poem a strong power to it. I like how you used that.

Thank you for your review
he sees peace, but she feels the culmination of so much heart break, perhaps words, poems she has not expressed yet....she doesn't trust him enough to let him into that cave of thought...

she poses, happy...

inside she is bent over, dying.
