Rose CadenceA Poem by Nisreen
Solitude stroke
On a brush of hope Peace for a soul Covenant bonds Stories do tell A Venice The quality of threads Jolting embrace Though anger subsides Shinning to a well He looks into her Witnesses little Inside a cave Gifts she left hanging Silk of traded paths Woven in good will Though simple and few Unfolded grew ample Stars spread to a carpet Furnishing a thought In the brink Secrets she wrote He may have swayed by Seldom noticing A spark in her eyes Telling records The shone shells Whispering his name A light wishful token Streets of a man Hung onto the hide Raving in subtle vibes A right to feel alive In bearing the truth of her To him Resolute comfort Looking at peace
