The judgmental

The judgmental

A Poem by Nisreen

In the blink of an eye
Stood a ten fold bunch

Looking at the landscape
Clearing fields of purity

Speaking words of many lies
Claiming to be wiser than the rest

At the distance stood an ode
To fill a known space of knowing

A guitar hooked to a string of flowers
Breaking away with tradition

An oath to a secret code
Caring for the song to remain

Out of the darkened corners
A sky of blue will hold faith

Thinking the time has come to an end
We speak of the battle of proof

A beauty of complete callings
To grow a path of serene tides

Boats have sailed the Atlantic
Cruising the out shores of your mind

Something heard left untouched
By the somber closings of learning

Taught

As always your poem flows on a sea of images, wave after wave of words that crash upon the shores of the mind upon completing a read of it.

This is a very artistic piece of writing, embedded with images of the arts and the beauty they evoke, poetry, music, song. The underlying theme of living under the pretense of wisdom is evident and intimately referred to throughout the poem.

As always, very well written and delicate in its touch on the mind. Nice work.

Thank for your kind review
Monet and Van Gogh are my favorite painters ... same with the music .. wonderful choices ..your poem is also very impressionistic ..one has to "let go" the mind and enjoy the ride ..the sense of deeper meaning is strong and demands i read it several times ...i enjoy your use of the language and the marvelous positive images you conjure

The peom is very soft and delicate as the breeze in the trees. It speaks of a time, when things have begun anew.

Imagery is on point in your work. I read it twice because I feel like there's the outward beauty in the words but also an underlying message of ignoring those watch in from the shore and taking on your own journey on your own ocean. Lovely job!
