Thrown

Thrown

A Poem by Nisreen

Wholesome care
in addition

describing the dawn
in sleepless time

hoping for a crimson
door to heaven

Inside the corners
of a shiny doorstep

Waiting for the sign
of summing

Reliving the hunt
for life

We dream onto a day
of foiled surreal

Lingering teachings
a feather figure

to land a landfill
of subjects we left to talk

naked renditions of seconds
placing no preconditions

to the heart

I see this as a natural human need to search for what we want most, what makes us most happy. I could be wrong, but either way, this is quite beautiful. The painting is quite the pairing for this piece as well. Thank you for sharing. :)

I guess all we need is love.
Very nice use of words and thoughts. I liked the flow of thoughts leading to good closure. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

You are welcome.
each couplet a new twist ... the fourth couplet is a turn in my eye ..and as i read the next four or five i am reading my attempting to understand your poem ..to place a thread through it ..but i cannot :} the closing feels very positive ... naked fearless showing of vulnerability ... with no judgements ...i like it! you have expressed yourself and i sense you reached a catharsis in its completion ..but it is very enigmatic and abstract ... the risk being we fail to make a point that is important to us ..(i confess i do that quite a bit myself:)

This seems to be a stream of consciousness musing using images softened by daylight dew to communicate a feeling of serenity. Sometimes disjointed thoughts can contain far more meaning than the most carefully chosen words can convey. A very beautiful piece. take care...dan

Love it! I've always said that I love it when people use images as stimuli and it's such an interesting image to use as well. Awesome piece :)

Very Nice!

This is like an artistic painting. A poem in stilllife form. This flows like a feather across an artistic landscape, bouncing gently from one image to the next to finally land on the heart, in peace and in a state of contentment.
Lovely writing, as always, Nisreen.
And that photo. I just love it! Care to elaborate on it?
