the door
the bench
the windows
and candles... and we are there
i try to make it to a big Catholic church every year to get a different reverent
approach to God that isn't found in as many Protestant churches...
reminded me I need to go...

What a place! What a church! A beautiful building and a place of such quiet reflection and harmony.
A trip down memory lane across a crowded square and into the bowels of this place of heavenly solitude.
Very nice writing, as always Nisreen.

There is one in Quebec Montreal and it is truly gorgeous .... thank you for your words :)
Aahh....this poem took me on a trip down memory lane to a little chapel in a forest......will share my thoughts and a pic of that chapel in my next poem.....
I think this poem is filled with passion... this feels very echo-ey, like I'm in a tunnel... the way you made me feel the rain on my fingertips and then that bench i was sitting in momentarily, i heard whispers, nothing solid, just aberrations. very great poetry!!!
Heartwarming, the scene of church is a lovely thing to me... The serenity, peace and inspiration it provides is just unbelievable, and when the church is old then it becomes little of interesting and encouraging... Lovely write frnd...
i love old churches..old buildings in general really but there is something extra nice about a church, even though iam not actually religious. well done on this good job :)
