Quebec

Quebec

A Poem by Nisreen

Air of peace
Open to something new

a paradise
of shores

in white
and blue

Horses prance by
Fish swim the street

my blue cheese
love

Crowned a dream
The pebbles of timely stone

Stepping again
by the oldest tree

A cafe
hugging the light post

By Sunday mornings
Church bells

Making a promise
Through a charcoal illustration

I wed my heart
to your every stroke

Somehow between a blink
of three

I married into a city
In the white dress

of

Serendipity

The imagery is fantastic, It made me vision the place in my mind and live in it like if I were really there.

This is very lovely.

You have presented a wonderful poetic visualisation of this city, that certainly creates beautiful images in the minds of those who have never been to this place.
Any city with cobblestone streets will get my attention. They look so beautiful when compared to the bleak black streets of this modern world.
You have given me an excellent travel destination! Thanks!
Extremely eloquent and well written, as always.

Nisreen, this is at the peak of visualization. The reader can see the city through your eyes in a beauty like no other. I really enjoyed this. Excellent work!

Like dancing in the rain the flow of this piece with the imagery of a city I can reflect on Quebec. I was there in 1984. The cobblestone streets, the fairs in old Quebec, a town I loved to pieces.
