Absolution

Absolution

A Poem by Nisreen

In some form of absolution
here comes the rain

following the tracks

a hopeful storm
of clear snow

unsold

never to follow

the none existence render
saving the soul

of the dark

seeing a castle in the sand
from a distance

the waters of
speaking life

in the grazed fields
found a new tradition

embracing the change
reaching for light

a taste in purity
mouthful lips in words

unspoken

the lifting of clouded nights
refusing a fall

above a drop of rain
The weeds

revolting

a new form of living
blossoming through spring

The poetry still flows......like a river of words, trickling over the tongue and into the mind.

Once again, a lovely flow of thoughts and images; an ode of sorts to the regeneration of the soul with brilliant comparisons with the rebirth of nature at the beginning of Spring.
"The weeds, revolting...." . A brilliant dualistic metaphor.
Well written, and beautifully penned, as always.

Thank you Doodley
Good description led to good ending.
"a new form of living
blossoming through spring"
I liked the above lines. Spring make all things come alive and we are hopeful once again. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Thank You ..........
Good thinking. Although I felt that the sentences were incomplete. I don't know whether you kept it intentionally or not. But still it was fun to read.

Nice one ............. in love or out we find a home in a cherished sense of being alive more
Even tho I'm not very good at reading highly figurative poetry such as yours, there's an unmistakable message in a couple spots that a Californian can relate to, having been thru a 4-year drought & now getting a decent amount of rain this winter for the first time in years. The weeds are revolting all over my country property, requiring many passes of the weed whacker this year (not the single mowing of previous winters!) This piece doesn't feel as gentle & flowing & vividly descriptive as your other writings. It seems to be more cerebral, so I get the feeling there's a deeper meaning I'm not getting. But this doesn't detract from the enjoyment of reading you.

I got a bump from "none existence" . . . wondering if it might be non-existence"?

i love this my friend! reading takes me thru a metamorphosis of positive change ..recognizing the difficulties and attempts to stop such a growth in ones spirit and person ... i am very much an introvert ..so my challenges and renewing occurs inside myself ...it seems you have tempered your avaunt guard style a bit (new name and all)...i noticed several of your poems were much clearer and i started to wonder if you were giving up your edge ..but this one for me is a fine balance ..one can read it without hindrances of understanding and are left with a sense of things and feeling it ..but i think your intent is found without too much trouble ..but ..i can be way off ;) i like this one a lot!
