Lighter than a Weather

Lighter than a Weather

A Poem by Nisreen

"
Climbing out of mercy
Running into woods

A small drop of dew
Left there to call

The longest hair
Has finally descended

She looks inside a pot
To make another story

Unfailing to become
The eyes to give

On sudden calling
Awaken too heavy

Stumbling by the chair
Dropping pennies

Staring up for an answer
The darkness spotted

A blind place
She wanders

Crying out of castles
Aided by the healer

To return all blessings
Into the corner of seeders

A white drum of chimes
Flutes telling a tale

A lady stood a chance
Steering her to relief

Understanding an older uncle
That held her behind his cloak

Allowing no sight
To pierce her eyes again

Regardless of the choice one makes, you are left wondering of the others. Don't wish too hard.

First, congratulations on getting published. The depth of your writing really does leave us in awe. The last two lines. Did she get her sight back, but it was snatched away again.

mmm mystical and mystery .. reading the first couplet i am saying to myself ..nooo don't run out in the woods :) love the title! (where do you come up with such stuff!) 5th couplet ..tricky indeed ..one has to pay attention eh!? my favorite image induced is :
"Crying out of castles
Aided by the healer"
plus it is a bit of a turn for me .. bringing in the family support warms me ..wise of your protagonist to seek wisdom and protection there ..enjoyed very much! congrats on the published work!!!! way to go! :))))

I can't even compare anything I say about this against what M. Rose left in their review. I think they hit the nail on the head with their observations of the Minutest of detail being so important. The line that connected it all for me was awaking too heavy, that line let everything else fall into place and the ending is so poignantly sad. Beautiful work Curious.

Thank you NEmo and i totally agree with you !!
Wow! I can see the sadness and beauty mixed in this. I really like the ending stanza most as it gave a strong emotional feeling to the rest of the poem.
