Balanced Ballet

Balanced Ballet

A Poem by Nisreen

Silent ruffles on sun dew
Shutting an envelope

Gentle change comes through
Reading a new

A guiding moon
Turned into a frame

Shine to be allowed
Staring down on me

A ribbon filled sky
Sweet bits cover

Focusing on none of the dance
Lucky chances always meant

No place to lose
Divine strength pulling out any cry

Waltz sway into a pond
Ships swift to another bay

Tongue tied by frozen leaves
Cups of dreams fill this stream

Glistening ripples
Star filled in human kind

Touching the soul
Smiling on transparent grounds

Thank you :)
This has this ethereal, moondance kind of quality it. I wish you could have done a little more with the part about dancing, it would have brought out the justness of the title more strongly. But then, you've opened up more possibilities to the poem instead of making it reassert its title. Liked it reading it.

Thanks for sharing,

Best,
M.
