The Hidden ManA Poem by tomboySomething I did in my spare time a little while back. Enjoy.
The Hidden Man
Dazzling, sparkling, sea blue eyes Sunshine-like wisps of golden hair He seems trustworthy, but tells many lies He is completely free, without a care He is athletic, muscled, and strong He is well-tempered, laid back, and funny He's self-assured; he thinks he's right when he's wrong He is jealous and greedy; he has mounds of money He is calm, an easygoing guy But trusting him is a mistake He is crafty, clever, and sly His is a deception, a complete fake He's a conman, a cut-purse All he isn't is an honest man He could be better, he could be worse But be careful, he's still a scam Beware of the hidden man who is masked Beware of what there is to discover Beware of answers to the questions asked Sometimes the book is different from the cover © 2009 tomboy |
