Chapter 1

The start of a girl's unknown origin...

She couldn’t remember anything, not her name nor her past, she wandered through the busy street holding her head in pain, only one image came to light; a large cylinder in a lab with her in it. Not being able to remember frustrated her, she walked through the crowds and eventually came to a bench, she sat down and closed her eyes.

 

She suddenly realised she had fallen asleep, she awoke to the sound of sirens, she saw police cars racing to a nearby smoking building. She didn’t know why, but her chest hurt looking at it, it was as if the cause was calling to her. She ran, fast, to the incident.

 

The police and a large crowd surrounded a burning parking lot, the woman felt like she was involved even though she wasn’t there. Ignoring the policeman’s warnings, she burst through the crowd and into the smoke.

 

Her mind stopped, before her lay hundreds of dead bodies, no, not just dead, they were cut up like pieces of meat. Towering above them stood someone, the smoke covered the figure but she could make out what looked like blades.

“Ah” said the figure in a man’s voice “You’ve come”.

“W-who are you?” asked the woman scared.

“You don’t remember?” asked the man “Of course, father erased your memories after your failure”.

“You know me?!” the woman was shocked at this “I beg you, tell me know I am”.

“You are my sister, Experiment Zero” said the man. The woman stood still, did he just say ‘Experiment’, was she just a human experiment. The smoke cleared and the man’s appearance was...odd. His face was half black and half pale white, he wore a suit as if going to a ball, but the most disturbing were the blades were actually in the place of his arms.

“I am Experiment 101” said the man “Or as my family calls me; Zri”.

“I don’t...understand” but before the woman could leave, the man pierced her heart with his blade, she fell, not moving even a finger.

 

The man started to walk away but stopped nearby,

“Wait” he noticed something odd “Why is her heart still beating”? Her heart was pierced yet he could still hear it. He turned round to see the woman standing before him, but not the same one as before, her left hand had changed into a black claw, on her forehead were two black horns and on her back were two black wings.

“So this is it” said Zri “Experiment Zero; father’s first and first failed experiment” he turned to the crowd and saw some policemen arriving “I’ll take my leave here, sister. If you wish to learn of your past, find our father, Mefel” and with that, he leapt and went right through the ceiling, without breaking it. The woman reverted to her original form and collapsed, she could feel someone pick her up and put her in a car.
