Blind Future

Blind Future

A Poem by Tom Q
"

A ten word challenge

"

The cold air blows from the north

Playground swings float with ghosts

Dancing brown leaves march forth

Gardens become lifeless hosts

Echoing truths told by mothers

Dislodging the luster of liberty

Solace sought in faces of others

Dampend cheeks of misery

My broken heart summons veracity

An adopted dream digs for worth

Thick autumn rain magnifies clearly

A lesson on change from the earth

To Intuition I trust and am now listening

Under another door I see light glistening
