As the Wheel Turns

As the Wheel Turns

A Poem by Cassandra

As the Wheel turns
from Winter to Spring,
there's an ache in my bones.
They're awakening
along with the flora; my soul,
a bud on the tree of life
unfurls
from each caress of the sun's
loving fingers.
