It Might Rain Tonight

It Might Rain Tonight

A Poem by S
"

For the girl who sheds poetry

"
the moon glows tonight

the trees moan, yawn
the leaves daydream --
the clouds rolled their eyes.

the boats sleep beside the sea
the rocks whistle a mournful comedy
for the girl with her dog-eared heart;
for the girl who sheds poetry.
