Almighty Being

An almighty being,
what is that?
Is it the guy in the heavens
with a beard and a hat.

Does he look like gandalf the white?
Or is he more of a grey?
I hope he won't smite
me, for what I'm about to say.

I chose to believe one thing,
but is my way the truth.
There is Allah and buddha,
and another guy at the jews.

The difference and coincidence
are far and close.
Man, how is my guy
better than that
explanation of yours.

To start with a bang,
or believe you are reborn.
The hindu, the atheist
who knows the truth?

Is it true that everyone sees
a part of the elephant.
It is pointy like a spear?
or big and wobbly like a rear.

Then who is the guy who sees it all?
Man, he is arrogant for sure.
He is so mighty and tall.

Nah, one guy has had to seen
The picture as a whole.
Or else there would be no story
to be told.

But that is arrogant as f**k,
and not very nice.
No matter if you are christian,
buddhist, muslim or some other size.

Don't ever think you know everything.
The christians don't,
and neither the rest of the game.
But that is the reason it is called faith.

Cause up there is god,
or not,
I guess only death will make us
see the change.

Nice voice here ... Like you I belive that not one person who walks the arth is better than the next.. not one. Religion, well people need to believe don't they... once one is able to look within then we can ask any question and the answer will come ....

I really like the pace within your poems, I like the feelings they give me too, I can feel the depth within your soul bursting with 'listen to me I have much to say'

I really like this, it encourages me to once again look outside the box. Will I or should I say we ever know the truth... or maybe the truth is there we just aren't allowing ourselves to except it.

This is simply wonderful. My views exactly, which may be why I like it so much. But it makes you think and hopefully open the eyes of others.
