Feverish

Feverish

A Poem by Tobias Rasmussen
"

Just pretend that she is sick.

"
Such a small body, close to half my size.
I want to protect her, just from looking at her eyes.
Your skin has the colour of snow,
The sweating pearls of it lightens with glow.

You are burning up my love.
My worry has started to go.
No, it never went it started to come.
Your presence, your awareness is gone.

You drift in and out of sleep.
I am so scared, I began to weep.
I grab hold of your little fiery body.
Move closer, you have become all cuddly.

Feverish.

The subtle humor is enjoyable.
