Gone but never forgotten, 96 reasons for justice

Gone but never forgotten, 96 reasons for justice

A Poem by Bad Wolf~
"

A tribute to the 96 liverpool fc fans who never returned from Hillsborough. It'stime for Justice YNWA

"
If you close your eyes just for a second while attending a Liverpool game
In the stadium of Anfield road or from far away,
You will still hear them singing our chants
And feel the spirit of our beloved 96 fans.

Because one day, it was the 15th of April 1989
96 angels decided just like us to attend a game of their endear’d Reds,
Wanted to wave with their scarfs and flags-
Just like we do today
But unlike us, for their passion, these 96 people had to give their life away.

On this horrible day, the ‘lucky’ ones where those who ‘only’ got injured
Because 96 of them never returned.
After this tragedy, as if the loss and pain were not bad enough,
Some brainless newspaper, whose name I despise to speak out,
Published goddamn lies about our beloved lost ones,
As well as of the heroes of this day of woe.

But still after all these years we would not even use this newspaper to puke upon
And our fight for justice still goes on.
96 reasons for justice are more than enough
And as long as we are called the fans of Liverpool FC ,
We will never give up.

We are wearing our shirts with pride
And keep trying to win this fight,
Because we know that 96 guardian angels are smiling down on us
As long as they see the red warriors walking on with hope in their heart and their head held up high,
Believing that at the end of a storm will be a golden sky.
