Limbo-fied

Limbo-fied

A Poem by Bad Wolf~

Broken wings,

Head in the clouds,

Soul on a sacrifice table

I lie here, shattered and whole

Light and darkness

both consuming me

Where am I to go?

Who am I meant to be?

My reflection might never show.

This content mask is both

device and demise,

I am good

because I’m damaged

Compassion is both

my gift and doom

My heart is in ruins

yet perfectly qualified

Hope being all its might.

Hoping that one day you’ll find me

and save me from my fear

Prove it wrong by staying for good,

be different and don’t disappear

I need to break free

from anxiety’s iron-fisted chains

Head in the clouds and feet in the pit,

neither here not there

Find me please

For I have lost faith in myself

and need you
to make me believe

anew
