I AM sorry for loving you

I AM sorry for loving you

A Poem by toanyone
"

When it isn't enough that your love is unrequited but the object of your affection ridicules your feelings just to drive the knife deeper.

"
Some old timer once said that it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all
But clearly this old timer didn't live long enough to meet you
Or he never would have said a word

I'm sorry that I love you
You really don't deserve my time, my mind, my heart
Me
I didn't know the rose tint would be that damn blinding
Practically sunglasses the way they made me perceive you
I'm sorry that I love a person so vain and heartless
That being honest with you may be my biggest regret
That I didn't see you for the ruthlessly pathetic coward that couldn't even bring themselves to spare a broken heart more heartache

I never expected you to reciprocate
I never expected you to be cruel either
I know you're not perfect and still I could see past your flaws and see beauty in your being
I can't even say that I should have known because I could not have known
You could be bitter, merciless, sadistic

I'm glad that I left you behind a million miles away
I'm glad that broken hearts do mend with time
I'm glad now that you don't love me
I AM sorry for loving you

A negative way of analysing love. Love is like double headed dagger. Some time it hurt on the other hand it pulls into deep crevices of fantasy. Nice poem
