This is an early work of mine (before I took the Creative Writing class and got some better at writing), but it's still mine. This is about my boyfriend at the time (now my ex...he broke up with me, b/c he claimed to feel like a burden, but we still talk,

I Always Think About You

When I gaze at the stars,
I always think about you,
and I wonder what you're doing...
wondering if you're cooking...
wondering if you're moving the grass...
or just wondering if you're thinking of me...

When I look at your picture,
I always think about you,
and I imagine you're here...
imagining your arms around me...
imagining your smiling brown eyes...
just imaginging you being with me...

When I hear your voice,
I always think about you,
and I ask myself how I got so lucky...
how did I fall in love with an amazing guy...
how did I end up so happy...
and how did you end up loving me back...

When I see you on the camera,
I always think about you,
and I hope that you're okay...
hoping that you're never lonely...
hoping that you know how much I love you...
and just hoping that I make you happy...

When I glance up at the ceiling,
I always think about you,
and I wish that I had enough money...
wishing I could come down there now...
wishing that I could see you...
and just wishing that we can be together...

I know that it is hard,
when we are so far apart,
but I want you to know one thing...
no matter where I am...
no matter what I am doing...
I always think about you...
