Weeping WillowA Poem by TM "Ree" Tateabout woman; using a willow tree as a metaphorWeeping willow~
Swaying gracefully in errant breeze. Hiding sorrow and pain in cascading leaves. Caressing rich soil with feathery fronds. Gently but firmly tethered, by earthly bonds Fluid strength bends during the storm. Never breaking, keeping perfect form. Roots buried deep to keep from dying. Listen close! Do you hear it crying? © 2011 TM "Ree" TateAuthor's Note
