Falling Into Nothing

Falling Into Nothing

A Poem by Tom Moll

Destroying what you can’t create

Creating what you can’t destroy

Destroying what was once your fate

Spiraling down into what you made

And what made you

That’s bringing you down too

But what do you do

When nothing can stop you?

When nothing can help

When life catches up

When you take and take and take

And you don’t give back

When things start to break

And bridges start to burn

When you have nothing left

And that’s what your life has to show.

When you realize that everything you hate

Is what you’re turning into

And everything that’s hurt you

Is what you're starting to do

To the people around you

The people who care

Hurting the ones that have always been there

How do you cope

When you feel like you’re losing it all

When everything starts to fall

Everything starts to slip away

Even the days

Even your goals

But worst of all your very own soul.

When everything that’s hurt you

Is your excuse to do what you do?

This is my life. I’m changing it thanks to you

Stuff like this actually make me stop and think about the littlest and biggest things in life. Stuff you can or can't control. I loved your poem.
